Santa Creu Church is located in the heart of the city and was built in the mid-twentieth century. Covers an area was then called as s’Hort des Bisbe (The Orchard of Bishop). The construction began in 1948 and the church was opened seven years later, in 1955.

It is a temple without portico, modern lines, but the internal structure is similar to other rural churches on the island, except for some ornamental elements.
