In the outskirts of Sant Josep, heading to Eivissa, you will meet Can Jordi. This grocery store, bar, art gallery and unusual music stage, is one of the most genuine places in the island. It is a small family shop by the road –which has been running for a century- that in musical circles of the island is known as “Can Jordi Blues Station”. On Friday night and Saturday evening are held concerts “by the pavement”. Well-known musicians, even world famous ones, have participated in the jam sessions. Vicent Jordi is the life of this original establishment, though he is often helped by his family and even his neighbours.
